to Sardis, the capital of ancient
Lydia, visit 2nd century synagogue
and Temple of Artemis. Lunch
in ancient Philadelphia (site
of one of the seven churches
of Revelations). After lunch,
drive to Hierapolis, to see
the unique "cotton castle"
geological formations.
Overnight in Pamukkale. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) |

Departure for the scenic Meander
Valley to visit the spectacular
site of the ancient city of
Aphrodisias. After
lunch, drive to Kusadasi for

Chapel of the Virgin Mary, the
Basilica of St. John, the Ephesus
Museum and the spectacular ruins
of Ephesus. Lunch at a local
restaurant in Žirince, a charming
